The Rocky Mountain Development Centre is nestled at the foot of the Vancouver's North Shore mountains, home to some of the world's most diverse and rugged terrain. We've been developing high performance mountain bikes here since 1981.

Many things have changed since we first opened our doors, but our product developers, engineers, marketing nerds, salespeople, and athletes are still a tight-knit crew that works and plays in these mountains. From local trail days to backcountry adventures, we're all here for a reason: we love mountain biking.

Since 1984, Easton Cycling has utilized our engineering and materials expertise to push the boundaries of cycling. Built to endure UCI World Cups, local crits, and the world’s largest gravel events, Easton Cycling produces industry leading gravel, all-road, race and cx components to help athletes seek more and stop less. Tested and backed, our components ensure every cyclist can excel, whatever lies ahead.

Marzocchi was founded in 1949 and it is presently involved in the design and manufacturing of motor bike and mountain bike suspensions.

The heritage of Italian motorsport is full of names like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Ducati, and most importantly Marzocchi. It was over 60 years ago, in 1949 to be exact when Stefano and Guglielmo Marzocchi founded Marzocchi Spa, which today produces the finest, best performing Mountain bike and Motor bike suspension products in the world. The two brothers began their career as designers at the prestigious Ducati company, but soon realized that building their own empire was the direction in which they wanted to go.
After several successful years of designing and manufacturing complete motor bikes, the brothers decided that hydraulic suspension was to be the future of Marzocchi. In the late 50s Marzocchi became known as an OEM and aftermarket supplier for brands such as Ducati, BMW, Cagiva, KTM and Aprillia. Stefano and Guglielmo always placed strong emphasis on performance without compromise. Marzocchi products were, and still are known to be the best performing and best built suspension products in the worldwide.
During the late 1980s, the mountain bike industry began to take off and Marzocchi responded. Consumers began asking for suspension on the front end of their mountain bikes. As a result, Marzocchi introduced its first prototype MTB suspension fork in 1989. As the market developed further, so did Marzocchi and in 1995 the Bomber had arrived.

On September 1st 2008 Marzocchi Suspension become part of the Tenneco Inc. Group, with the name Tenneco Marzocchi s.r.l..

On November 2015 Fox took the MTB assets.

We are riders; always have been. Bound by our love of dirt and speed, we sought out careers in action sports and outdoors to stay close to that sought after dream of riding every day. Collectively advancing to an array of successful roles among some big companies, we pretty much saw it all. But those achievements came at a cost, always on their terms, their rules, and their ownership. The creators and dreamers within us weren’t satisfied, longing for a sense of belonging and a desire for new solutions. Outcasts within our own environment, that resilience and experience got us a concept.

Drawing on decades of experience, Wade’s influence in the mountain biking community is onto its next chapter; Godfather’s Garage. The goal of Godfather’s Garage is to give riders the products they need to keep their bikes running smoothly, no matter what type of riding conditions. By testing our products year-round on Vancouver’s North Shore, we deal with thick, dry dust all summer, before heading into the relentlessly wet, dank days of winter.

So, what does a professional freerider know about making lube? Well, it turns out – a lot! If there was ever anyone who knew about the demands put on a mountain bike, it’s Wade. Lube it. Send it.

Wade’s given his life to mountain biking and his freeride influence is globally recognized, and with it, a lasting legacy. But it all started in the garage – even for the Godfather.
